American Express and STAUD Collab on A Beautiful New Resortwear Collection
By: Aneesha Mahapatra
Last night, I got to attend an exclusive event with American Express and STAUD- two popular, luxurious brands that know how to capture the lifestyle and culture of Gen-Z/ millennials. Amex has collaborated with the fashion brand for an eight-piece resortwear collection in honor of the 60th anniversary of the American Express Gold Card.
The event took place at Sloane’s in NYC, an upscale and chic cocktail bar that definitely aligned with the vibe of the campaign. I got the opportunity to see “Spiderman: Homecoming” actress, Laura Harrier who wore the Gold Cadence Dress from the collection and is the face of this campaign. Additionally, the Co-Founder of STAUD, Sarah Staudinger was there herself wearing the Member Since 66” Williams T-Shirt.

The night was spent mingling, getting to taste some yummy bites including a caviar station, trying the delicious drink menu, and an art station where you could get yourself painted with one of the clothing pieces. DJ Kitty Cash was also there and played some great beats to celebrate the successful evening. The collection has officially launched publicly today, March 26, with a fun and cute IG video that gives off very much “White Lotus” vibes. Items for purchase are now available on staud.clothing and in STAUD stores.
The overall collection captures the brand essence of STAUD and Amex bringing together style and experience in a way that showcases how legacy brands are leaning into design-forward partnerships to create products and moments that fit how people live, travel, and connect in today’s world.
Additional standout pieces in this fashion capsule include the Timmy Bag and Print Scarf. All items range from $145 to $595 USD. Rooted in the Gold Card’s travel and dining lifestyle, the designs feature beaded patchwork, subtle nods to top Amex destinations, and signature gold accents/ embellishments infused with STAUD’s modern aesthetic and inspired by The Hotel Collection, a curated hotel program available to Gold Card Members through American Express Travel.

This special collaboration launches a yearlong celebration of Gold, introducing new ways for Card Members to experience elevated dining, travel, and everyday benefits as the Gold Card continues to grow and redefine its offerings.
Today, staying relevant means showing up where people are already engaging through creative partnerships and experiences that resonate with their daily lives. American Express continues to do just that, tapping into trends and cultural moments in a way that feels natural and keeps the brand connected to its Card Members.
